Size guide

Suit sizes here follow the UK convention: the number is your chest measurement in inches, the letter is the length. R (regular) fits most men between 5'7" and 5'11"; S and L variants, where offered, trim or add roughly an inch and a half in the body and sleeve.

The table

SizeChest (in)Waist (in)Height
36R36305'7" to 5'11"
38R38325'7" to 5'11"
40R40345'7" to 5'11"
42R42365'7" to 5'11"
44R44385'7" to 5'11"
46R46405'7" to 5'11"

Trousers ship roughly six inches smaller than the jacket chest, the classic drop. Accessories are one size unless a product page says otherwise.

How to measure

Chest

Tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, keeping the tape level. Breathe normally; do not puff up.

Waist

Measure where your trousers actually sit, not where you wish they sat. For most men that is just below the navel.

Between sizes?

Size up and have the waist taken in. A tailor can remove an inch gracefully; adding one is somewhere between costly and impossible. Slim lines run trimmer through the chest and thigh, so if you are broad, prefer the regular cut.
